Cata-huh?
So everyone has been talking about the new expansion. A lot. Even Fealen has been chattering away about it. It isn’t that I don’t care or anything. But, as Windsoar from Jaded Alt states: I don’t wanna talk about it. In fact, I prefer to sit back and let things happen as they will. Yes, I might peek over Fealen’s shoulder while he reads updates on WoW.com, but that doesn’t mean I am going to jump right on my computer to do a whole blog about Cata and the changes to such-n-such class. I might mention it on occasion, but how does anyone talking about it make the release any different?
This is how I am looking at it, thanks to dear Zelmaru, and my mind. Zel stated that “no matter WHAT happens, the expansion will be a “reset” of sorts, so there is not much we can do to “prepare.”” I agree completely with this. Spending all our time ranting and raving about the expansion is wasting the time we have to enjoy the game as it is. In very little time we’ll all have to learn new ways to play our toons, the world around us will change and there will be a new race to come up against on both sides.
Now, I know some of you will say: ‘But I don’t enjoy the game now, I just want it to change‘ but I bet after a while of playing in Cata, you’ll really wish you didn’t spend all your time whining about changes not coming fast enough, or that things are going to be too different and that you had taken the time you had left to enjoy being able to play and pretend like you knew what you were doing.
After this post, I will not being blogging anymore about Cata and the changes coming (I’m not going to promise this, however, because knowing me… I’ll find something that piques my interest and HAVE to write an entry. At that point, feel free to link my own entry back to me and call my a hypocrite). So while this is fresh, while I’ve got a little fire under me arse and am willing to debate things through or have a nice little chat about it: What are your thoughts on the whole of the WoW community ignoring the time they have left to play LK in order to complain or rant about Cata? Or do you find that talking about it, ranting, raving and complaining makes the time pass faster than just letting things happen the way they will?
Tell me your thoughts! This is the one time I will open things up to chatter about Cata, so take advantage of it :-p

I like knowing what’s coming but then again i don’t really care. I will most likely be playing it anyways and whining about the changes is just stupid. Changes is what make the game intersting.

I agree Xercy. Nothing we say now is going to change what happens when it comes out, but Blizz is pretty good about listening to people AFTER changes has been made. Just relax and let things happen as they will :-p

I saw the things going up on the WoW website about the changes and all I could think is I just don’t care. Hearing someone else say is really nice. I’d hate to think that I am the only person on the planet who couldn’t care less what cata-who is bringing at some time in the future that hasn’t really been announced yet.

No worries Mich, you are not alone. There are a lot of people who feel the same way. I know that, in a way, my post is “talking” about it. But as I stated in the post… as soon as everyone has had their say on it I am done… hopefully :-p
