There’s a Lesson Here… Somewhere.

This is my second attempt to get this blog up and running. My first attempt was half-hearted and completely on a whim. I have high hopes that I will actually mange to get it going this time.

For anyone reading, the name’s Kainda. My BElf Hunter is level 80 and slowly working her way up to raiding status. Maybe. I also have a level 27 lock and a level 15 Druid. Not so ambitious when it comes to the lock, Adelinda. But the Druid is a different story. I actually have people to level with on her.

But this entry isn’t about a lock or a Druid. It’s about my struggling level 80 Hunter. I say struggling because I’m at a point with her that I am not sure where to go with. I’m getting pressure from all sides to begin raiding. I did 10man ToC once. It was fun. I lived through things no one else did. But I haven’t actually done any 10mans since, and won’t do 25man just yet. So, needless to say, I have plenty of guildies begging me to do 10man.

Is it horrible that I just enjoy making them beg?

Granted, that isn’t why I don’t do it. I don’t do it because I get distracted so easily I want to be sure I have someone, like our fearless guild leader, there to keep me on track. I know what to do, how to do it, how to stay out of anything that looks bad for my health. But I can’t help but want to run to the shiny things an see how close I can get without getting yelled at. All the same, the guild leader is pretty insistent that I start raiding again too. As is my boyfriend, the whole reason I even play WoW. I suppose I owe him that much, huh?

ANYWHO! During my first attempt to get this blog going I claimed I would put up some photos of my Hunter. I never did it. So I’ll do it now. Just a few, a teaser, but I am sure there will be plenty more where they come from.

The first is actually one of the first Screen shots I took of myself. I have a slight obsession with penguins and, while questing with my Undead Priest boyfriend in Glimmer Bay, I discovered an iceburg peppered with the adorable little flightless birds. So, of course, I had to take a picture with them. Aaaaand right after I did, the priest ran up and cast Holy Nova and killed them all in one shot. /cry

The others are all me having fun on various WoW Holidays. Winter Veil, Pirate Day, and Hallow’s End (in which you can see my Priest, Coagulator).

I suppose I’ll call an end to my first entry, though be sure there will be lots more to come.

/love
